Gelli Printing Workshop – Oct. 7th

In this hands-on class, Judy Knott will walk you through several gelli plate printing exercises to create beautiful papers that can be used in collages and abstract paintings. During the first hour, Judy will be demonstrating different gelli plate printing techniques. During the second hour, students will play/practice their own techniques for making prints. The rest of the time will be spent creating abstract pieces on different grounds such as Christmas ornaments, paper bags, greeting cards or other frameable pieces.

The instructor will provide the following materials: paints, palette, paper, stencils, brushes, stamps and other tools for making marks, greeting card blanks, and other grounds on which to create artwork. Some instruction will be given about composition using mats. Grab a few friends and book into this class if you're looking for fun things to do in Morro Bay!

No fewer than six students to ensure class is a go. Max students would be 12.
