The Morro Bay Art Association Student Art Show, will be held at the Morro Bay public library, 625 Harbor St, Morro Bay, CA 93442, March 3, 2018 through April 7, 2018. The opening reception is March 10, 2018 from 3-5 pm.

Digital online submission – 2D and 3D accepted. Original art, size limitation up to 16 x 20.
Deadline to enter/submit online is Dec. 23, 2017. Images need to be approx. 2400px x 3000px. The entry form requires a 75 word artist’s statement, a digital image of original art, student contact information and parent permission. Work must be original and completed between Jan. 1, 2017 and Dec. 23, 2017.
Awards – 25 students will be selected from this submission to participate in a matting and framing session in February at participating schools. Art Center Morro Bay will provide the mattes and frames. Selected artwork must be delivered on March 3, 8:30-10:00 to the Morro Bay Library by the student.
Scholarship winners will receive Best of Show $150, 1st place 2D $100, 2nd place 2D $50, 1st place 3D $100, 2nd place 3D $50. Judging will be done online as a positive comment review by three local professional artists. Students will be able to see the judges comments.
Reception – Saturday, March 10, 2018, 3-5pm. Students are required to attend. Awards will be presented at that time.
