12/6 - Stained Glass Ornaments

TIME: 9:30am to 6:00pm
COST: $85.00 Members, $105.00 Non-members

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Stained Glass Ornaments will provide participants with a choice of patterns and materials to make multiple ornaments. Participants will learn how to cut glass, copper foil, solder, and hang their project.

Materials and use of tools using the copper foil method of construction are included in the class. Participants will leave with a completed piece of art, ready to hang on a tree or in a window.

Coffee, tea, water and light snacks will be provided. Lunch is available from local businesses. This class will be downstairs in our wonderful classroom, and involve a great deal of standing; participants should be able to stand for the better part of the day.

PLEASE NOTE: Students must be 16 or over and have glass cutting skills prior to the class.

LIST OF MATERIALS/SAFETY EQUIPMENT REQUIRED:
* Safety glasses
* Apron, crew neck shirt, long sleeve shirt, or old work shirt,
* Closed toed, comfortable shoes,
* Face mask,
* Hair tie to secure long hair

Deborah Wogan has been a stained glass artist for 45 years; designing and creating traditional & non-traditional custom stained glass art, as well as fused glass art and dichroic glass jewelry.
