“Photography Tips for Arists” with Barry Goyette

Artist and 35-year veteran photographer Barry Goyette presents his work and shares tips to help artists photograph their own work for exhibitions, ads, etc., as well as creative ideas for integrating photography into their artistic process.
Barry Goyette has produced a creative, versatile, and sophisticated body of work here on the Central Coast for more than 35 years. Goyette’s work for Nike, Beringer, Robert Mondavi, Copeland Sports, Must! Charities, and the Civic Ballet of San Luis Obispo, among others, stands out for its story-based imagery and consistently imaginative approach. His zeal for contemporary work has showcased him in exhibitions over the years, including a 2024 solo show in our own San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.
